About Dr. Philippe Smith

Dr. Philippe Smith is an experienced family practitioner with over a decade of dedication to patient care. He currently serves at Clinique Le Trait D’Union and Anna Laberge Hospital. Dr. Smith holds a B.Sc in Cell and Molecular Biology from Concordia University and earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Montreal.
He completed his medical residency at Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital, further refining his clinical expertise. Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to medical education and professional development through his involvement with the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens (FMOQ).
In recognition of his leadership and dedication, Dr. Smith serves as the Chief of the Regional Department of General Medicine for South West Montérégie. He is also the Vice President of the Association des médecins Omnipraticiens du Sud-Ouest (AMOSO), leading initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery across the region.
